Two reasons to buy this movie:
In the words of Janice from The Muppet Show, like, I’m totally bummed you guys. After reviewing Broth3l Boys and British Auditions 2, I was very excited to review Seal Productions’ Sex Pub. How could you not expect great things from a film with that title? Couple that with the impressive technical values and great casting from their other films, I thought for sure Sex Pub would be just as great, if not better. Unfortunately that’s what bums me out. Sex Pub, despite having a very sexy and alluring cast and an actual pub as its set, does not deliver sex that is up to par with previous ventures.  During the scenes there is a lot of noise, panting, groaning and the like, but while watching Danny Star in his two scenes with Kris Harper and Duncan Lee, respectively, I couldn’t feel or see any spark or connection between them. The guys are extremely handsome, but you can only watch two handsome guys for so long before you realize things aren’t going to get better. Lee seems to enjoy the buff Star pounding his ass mercilessly, but with Harper it looks like two attractive guys having sex solely for the purpose of making a film, not fulfilling anyone’s fantasies.Things get better when hairy Jay Venture is offered a free pint by bartender Brett Matthews as long as he gets a fuck out of it. Looking at the light-haired bartender you’d be a fool to say no, and Venture guzzles down his pint, then chows down on Matthews’ uncut cock. They suck each other atop the pool table, and it’s nice to see an unwaxed chest in the film. The hairier Venture has a hunger that needs to be satisfied and it happens to be in his bum; Matthews is able to feed and stuff him with his cock deep and hard on the pool table. I was worried when I saw Nico James trying out as a go-go boy for Matthews. You may watch Star’s scenes because he is drop-dead gorgeous and his costars are very hot too, but they don’t have that pizzazz to make a scene due to actions, not looks, like Matthews does with Venture and James. While his dancing skills are the best, his cocksucking skills and bottoming skills are excellent. After they 69, Matthews rims James, and then they’re off. James shows he’s got rhythm in his hips as he bounces quickly and wildly on his Matthews’ cock. There’s a lot of moaning and panting, but this time it’s to demonstrate their mutual pleasure. I do love how director Adam Bailey uses models with looks not usually seen in porn. For instance there’s Venture and his shaggy, long-haired look, and then there’s Hunter Riley who has jet-black hair past his shoulders. He uses the restroom and Matthews, who apparently has dental, health and nonstop sex on the job as part of his benefits, follows. They compare cocks and have a seriously wet and sensual make-out session. While kissing they lose their clothes and explore each other’s bodies before Riley makes his way to Matthews’ cock, which quickly hardens in Riley’s mouth. Riley shows he’s a pretty good cocksucker as he effortlessly sucks that thick dick down. Not every model is going to be the butchest thing, but a few times when Riley squeals or moans, it sounds like he’s bitching out. Again, I know that happens, but when you have Matthews talking in a sexy deep voice, you can try to match it. What’s odd is that during this bathroom scene when Riley says “Oh yeah!” to Matthews, his voice is deep and demanding. It’s a little thing because you’ll be wondering if it can get any hotter, and can Matthews really be this much of a horn dog. If you ever visit the sex pub, you better hope so. After fucking against the bathroom wall and on the floor, Matthews’ load is huge, and Riley’s is just as big. Those poor thirsty customers at the bar. I think if the first two scenes of Sex Pub had more of a dynamic between the models, it wouldn’t feel like the length of each scene is so long. If they had been like any of Matthews’ three scenes where there’s mischievous models, energy and spark, then Sex Pub would’ve been as good as Seal Productions’ other films. But every film can’t be great, so hopefully the next entries from this production house will be better and more amazing. The DVD has scene selection; 138 minutes. | |
